Georgia Southern has finalized its 2014 non-conference football schedule with road dates at N.C. State, Georgia Tech and Navy and a home contest against Savannah State.`The 2014 schedule opens on Aug. 30, at N.C. State, the first meeting between the two schools, and continues on Sept. 6, with the home opener against Savannah State. The Eagles will be back on the road the following week at Georgia Tech on Sept. 13 and will play their final game of the regular season at Navy on Nov. 15. Savannah State replaces previously announced Football Championship Subdivision opponent Duquesne, which did not meet the required 90 percent grant-in-aids over a rolling two-year period.
