Georgia Southern women's basketball head coach Rusty Cram will be looking for some offensive punch when the Lady Eagles meet Western Carolina at 3 p.m. today at Hanner Fieldhouse in the seventh annual "Pack The House in Pink" game.
The Eagles (6-12 overall, 2-7 Southern Conference) scored only 35 points against College of Charleston on Wednesday night but it was enough to snap a four-game losing streak as the Cougars could manage only 34 against the SoCon’s top defense.
The Lady Catamounts (6-11, 1-7) have lost three straight games, and are winless on the road this season.
Facts and Figures: WCU head coach Karen Middleton holds the South Carolina school record for 3-pointers with 317. She graduated in 1991, and was an assistant at Stanford for 10 years, and Illinois for two, before taking the Western job.
