Statesboro ER doctor to appear on cable TV shows

Dr. Ruthie Crider, of Statesboro, was invited back to "Untold Stories of the E.R." and will appear in the season premiere titled "Turtle Trouble" at 9 p.m. Friday on the Discovery Fit & Health cable channel and at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 26, on TLC. Her next show this season, "Scalped!", will air at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, on Discovery Fit & Health and at 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 on TLC. Crider practices in the Emergency Department at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She is married to Bill Crider and they have two sons — Billy, 6, and Bo, 4 — who attend Bulloch Academy.
