If it's true that the average weekly manufacturin' pay … in Bulloch County is $653 a week, somebody owes me a lot of money. … Because I have worked as a foreman at a local plant here for over 10 years … and I don't make anywhere close to that.

I just drove all the way out to the FedEx office at 11 a.m. on Tuesday … and guess what? … They're closed! You can't ship anything.

… This is … for all the citizens down … Brannen Pond and Cleary Road: you keep a check and watch on your vehicles. There is someone going around … stealin' gas. … I reckon they don't know how to get out and work for a livin'. … They gon' make the … times hard … even harder on people that do.

People, it's time we got a little upset about this health care. … Our representatives in Washington … have the Cadillac policy … and they paid little of nuthin' for it and on top of that, they're gonna keep it for the rest of their life when they retired from politics. … They have forced somethin' down our throat we can't afford and don't want. It's time we forced them. They work for us. We need to force them to take what they're forcin' on us or give us what they've got.

Have you heard about the next bailout that's comin'? … Union bosses' pension plans. That's right! We're gonna bail out the union bosses' pension plans. Most of us don't even have a plan.

… In Portal's new school … we have somethin' that none of the other schools have. We have a pond beside U.S. 80 in front of the school. … It may be it was designed that way, or maybe the water … can't decide whether to run into the … Mill Creek or the … Lotts Creek.
