Sylvania Police Arrests

Artist Collins, 64, Ott Street-disorderly city ordinance.
Ervin Lee Hagins, 58, Florida Avenue-disorderly city ordinance.
Dorothy A. Browne, 49, Martin Luther King Blvd.-aggravated cruelty to animals.
Earl Lestonzarel Williams, 31, Shell Lane-driving while license suspended/revoked/second or subsequent offense.

Sylvania Police Incident
SOUTH MAIN STREET-A minor was found intoxicated during a license check.
HALCYONDALE ROAD-During a license check a man was found for whom police had a standing warrant for failure to appear in court.
FLORIDA AVENUE-An altercation was reported where a man said the second party was not fulfilling an obligation they had worked out concerning cleaning property behind his residence, when one party became loud. During a later incident, the two were reported throwing rocks and bricks at each other.
MARTIN LUTHER KING BLVD-A dog was found neglected to the point that there was fat tissue, tendons, and meat hanging around its neck where the collar and cable had grown into his skin. Police said he had to be euthanized because of the shape he was in.
THOMPSON STREET-A man and woman were arguing because she said he did not fill her car up with gas.
SCREVEN STREET-Two men were reported in a physical altercation.

Curtis Eugene Rice, 22, Highway 169 (Claxton)-DUI of alcohol, failure to maintain lane.
Julian E. R. Lewis, 50, Hillcrest Heights Drive-probation violation.
Kenneth Wayne Dilas, Sr., 60, Fernwood Drive (Ellabel)-escape.
Christopher Sampson, 36, First Street-child support lock up.
Rodnecia Walker, 19, Jarrad Avenue (Sardis)-driving while license suspended/revoked, headlight requirements.
Ivory Joe Smith, 31, E.C. Honeycutt Road (Statesboro)-suspended registration, no insurance.

Screven Sheriff's Incidents
BURTONS FERRY HIGHWAY-A woman said when receiving a social security card, it wasn't in an official envelope but in a plain white envelope instead with a handwritten name on the outside.
KING AMERICA FINISHING-A woman found her car damaged while she was working and her car was parked outside.
BENJI DRIVE-A woman reported her daughter receiving several phone calls at night, some of which turned threatening in nature.
AMI KIDS-A youth was reported exposing himself to the female staff.
WESTVIEW II APARTMENTS-Someone reported a juvenile hitting a rock with a bat, which hit her son.
HIGHWAY 24-An employee of Planters found that someone stole a telephone box which contained several wire connections outside Oliver.
LAKE ROAD-A complainant reported a man threatened to shoot him.
CATAWBA ROAD-A young man reported his ex-girlfriend and her family have been making remarks to him and his new girlfriend.
