Police report - 9-18-14; An alcohol compliance check resulted in two citations for underage drinking

    William Thomas Thigpen, 20, Harden Road — underage possession of alcohol.
    Stephen Boyd Lewis, 38, Live Oak Loop, Ellabell — felony theft by shoplifting.
    Renee Lawren Murdock, 20, Whispering Pines Boulevard — underage possession of alcohol.
    Andre Bashun Jackson, 21, Walnut Creek Way, Lithonia — felony theft by shoplifting.

Incidents
    GNAT’S LANDING — An alcohol compliance check resulted in two men cited for underage drinking around 10:20 p.m. Friday. Both were 20 years old.
    WALMART — A man was arrested after shoplifting a baseball cap, arrowheads, arrow shafts, a hunting blind, hunting jacket, hunting stool, a portable gazebo, wallet, men’s briefs, boxer briefs, undershirts, V-neck shirts, a belt and a TV. He made two separate trips between 1 and 6  p.m. Sunday to steal the items, which totaled over $600 — a felony amount — according to an incident report.
    Another man shoplifted a 50-inch TV around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
    GATA’S — A 20-year-old woman was cited for underage possession of alcohol around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

    Brandon Jamal Fleming, 22, Lanier Drive — probation violation.
    Nealla Diane Rosales, 45, Cypress Lake Mobile Home Park — probation violation.
    John Arthur Gowan, 19, Planters Lane — stop-sign violation, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, original container required for prescription medications, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession of a drug-related object.
    Taj Jesse Jones, 23, Bay Street, Millen — possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, DUI/drugs, no driver’s license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, seat belt violation, fleeing/attempt to elude, obstruction and failure to maintain lane.
    Damien Darrell Walker, 23, Cone Homes — marijuana possession.
    Michael Mandrell Moore, 34, Morris Street — child support nonpayment lockup.
    Wayne Mekell Hines Jr., 21, East Miller Street Extension — probation violation.

Incidents
    NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — Deputies questioned a man walking near a cemetery around 11 a.m. Tuesday because there had been vandalism in the cemetery. The man mumbled when investigators questioned him and agreed to a pat-down search. A bag of marijuana was found hidden in his mouth, and he was arrested.
