➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST — Someone reported an entering auto incident. A cellphone was stolen.

▲ HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — Deputies responded to an unwanted person call and a woman was arrested for obstruction and loitering/prowling.

▲ LANDING PARKWAY — A deputy on patrol noticed a vehicle without a tag and, due to a rash of stolen tags being reported lately, contacted the owner, who said the tag had indeed been stolen.

▲ STRICKLAND ROAD — A man complained about another person owing him a large sum of money and taking items from his home. The suspect admitted on camera having taken the items. The case was referred as a civil matter.

▲ HIGHWAY 1129 — A man reported theft of undisclosed items.

▲ AKINS CIRCLE — A person was arrested for involvement in a battery and domestic dispute case.

▲ STONEBROOKE WAY — A woman was given information in taking warrants after she told deputies she was engaged in a physical fight with her ex-boyfriend. She said they argued over $300 and about her breaking up with him, and he became angry when she kicked him out of the house.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ MONARCH APARTMENTS — Officers responding to a report of criminal trespass/family violence did not find the aggressor, but issued a warrant.

▲ DONNIE SIMMONS WAY — A man said someone ran off the road and struck his mailbox, flagpole and a campaign sign.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A woman said she argued with her child’s father.

In another call, a woman said she had a verbal dispute with her husband.

▲ FOOD WORLD/FAIR ROAD — Someone shoplifted a total of about $640 worth of food, clothing and other items. The offender was arrested.

▲ BAY STREET/WEST MAIN STREET — A man abandoned a car during an attempted traffic stop and fled on foot, leaving behind a passenger. Warrants for the driver were issued.

▲ UNIVERSITY PLAZA — A man found asleep on a sidewalk refused medical treatment but called a friend to take him somewhere else.

▲ NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A resident reported a blue Hyundai Elantra stolen. It was found with a person in another town.

▲ WOODLAND DRIVE — A woman told police she argued verbally with a former coworker.

▲ BRAMPTON AVENUE — In two separate cases, persons reported the theft of bicycles.

▲ BALDWIN STREET — A suspect was arrested on charges of simple battery/family violence after an altercation.

▲ DINGUS MAGEES — A woman injured during a battery incident declined to press charges.

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted 11 motorists.
