Statesboro Police Department

FAIR ROAD - Someone reported that a former employee of a restaurant (not identified in reports) made threatening remarks.
EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER - A man being treated for injuries sustained in a fight with several males declined to press charges.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A man was arrested for shoplifting $68 worth of assorted items.
HIGHWAY 80/BEASLEY ROAD - A woman was arrested for fighting with another in a vehicle that was still in motion.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
JOE HODGES ROAD - Deputies were called to a home where a man claimed his mother had struck him. The mother said that he had pushed her during an altercation and had been to several mental health facilities but is sent home as soon as he gets there. There is an ongoing mental health concern with her son, she said.
CYPRESS LAKE MOBILE HOME PARK - A man and woman engaged in physical fighting about grocery money and because the man was inebriated. Warrants were issued for his arrest.
WAL-MART DISTRIBUTION CENTER - A woman who had just been fired reportedly balled her fists and told the woman responsible for her termination, "You're lucky I didn't punch you in the face." The victim called deputies because she felt threatened.
ROCKY FORD ROAD - A woman said that a dog chained in her neighbor's yard charged her. The neighbor said that the dog's owner is coming to get the dog.
BRYANT STILL ROAD - A man reported damage to a box trailer and tools being stolen.
RALEIGH COURT - Deputies responded to an altercation between a man and his wife over his alleged infidelity.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued 11 traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Troopers investigated 10 crashes with eight reported injuries last week. They also issued 14 citations and four warnings for seat belt violations, one warning for child restraint violations, and 13 citations and 30 warnings for speeding.
