HIAWATHA STREET — Deputies responded to a report of an aggravated assault.

HIGHWAY 129 — Someone reported a burglary.
DEER RUN LANE — Deputies responded to a simple battery report.
Metter Police Department
SOUTH LEWIS STREET — Police responded to a report of public intoxication.
EAST LILLIAN STREET — Someone reported a case of sexual battery.
WEST TURNER STREET — Officers responded to a call involving criminal trespass and third degree cruelty to children.
CEDAR STREET — Someone reported an automobile break-in.
Bulloch County Animal Shelter
Surrendered by citizens — 15 dogs and five cats from rural areas; one dog and no cats from City of Statesboro.
Collected by humane officers — three dogs and four cats from rural areas; four dogs and nine cats from City of Statesboro.
Adopted from shelter — four dogs and four cats.
Taken in by rescue organizations — two dogs and no cats.
Reclaimed by owners — five dogs.
Died at shelter — no animals.
Euthanized — seven dogs and one puppy (two surrendered with severe aggression, two sickly, three severe aggression, two with extreme health issues) and 22 feral or sick cats.
