INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL — A deputy received a report Thursday about a harassing communications incident at the school.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — A man reported that three traps went missing after he set them near an apartment in an effort to catch a stray cat. The landlord had requested that the traps be set, the complainant told the deputy. An apartment resident said he hadn’t seen the traps and didn’t know who took them.
    HIGHWAY 80 WEST — A deputy responded to a report of a possibly stolen vehicle at the El Cheapo Food Mart 13. An investigation would continue, the deputy noted. No vehicle description was in the report summary.

Statesboro Police Department
    WEST MAIN STREET — A woman reported that when she wouldn’t give someone money, he hit her on the head.
    TAMO LANE — A resident reported someone damaged his mailbox.
    NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — An officer stopped a car operating without a license plate near the College Street intersection and found the driver was wanted in another jurisdiction. She was arrested.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued two traffic citations and four traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
    GOLD ROUTE BUS — A report of a sexual battery incident was turned over to the department’s criminal investigations division.
    KENNEDY HALL — A drug complaint resulted in one arrest.
    EAGLE VILLAGE — Two alcohol violation incidents each resulted in two “judicial referrals.”
    PARKING LOT J — One arrest was made in a minor-in-possession and obstruction incident.
