Incidents
    GARFIELD STREET — A woman told police around 8 p.m. Sunday that a woman struck a juvenile in the head.
    STATESBORO — A woman came in to the police department to report a man stalking her and making harassing phone calls. She reported the incident around 10:50 a.m. Saturday but said the behavior began March 1, and that the man is a former coworker.
    DOLLAR GENERAL — (Fair Road) A man was caught shoplifting canned dog food and nail polish remover around 11:20 a.m.  Saturday. He admitted at first that he was trying to save money, but then said he was going to put the items back. He was served with a criminal trespass warning.
    PARKER’S — (Brampton Avenue) A woman told police around 11:30 p.m. Saturday that two men saw her at a gas station Aug. 5 and have come to her work twice, parking beside her car, asking questions about her.
    COPPER BEECH — Three adults and two juveniles were arrested for loitering and prowling about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
    WAL-MART — Three men were arrested around 4 p.m. Friday for shoplifting about $135 worth of beer, food and a wastebasket. One man was also wanted on outstanding warrants.

Incidents
    SPOTTED FAWN ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman reported a fire caused by a lightning strike around 11 p.m. Friday. The home sustained fire and smoke damage.
    ELDORA ROAD — (Ellabell) A man complained around 2:15 p.m. Friday that a neighbor had loud parties and guests urinated on his property.
    GEORGIA HIGHWAY 67 — A woman said a man showed up at Wal-Mart when she was there, trying to reconcile a relationship with her. He became angry and overturned buggies, “acting crazy,” she said. She feared he would show up at her home, and contacted deputies who met her at home around 9 p.m. Friday. The woman made a complaint around 8 p.m. Saturday that the man called her continuously to express his love for her.
    KENDRICKS ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman told deputies around 11 p.m. Sunday that her boyfriend struck her in the mouth and stomach after she told him she was leaving him. She asked for personal items of hers he had in his wallet and told deputies she was four weeks pregnant. The man was arrested.
    CLIPONREKA ROAD — (Clito) A man was arrested around 1 a.m. Sunday after cursing at a deputy investigating a report of domestic dispute. The cursing took place in the presence of children.
