TRAIL’S END ROAD — Deputies investigated a simple battery incident.
HIGHWAY 121 — Deputies responded to a call and discovered possession of a controlled substance.
PULASKI HIGHWAY —Someone reported a theft by shoplifting.
Metter Police Department
EAST LILLIAN STREET — Someone reported a theft.
AZALEA STREET — Police investigated a burglary.
SOUTH LEROY STREET — Someone reported property damage.
WEST CANDLER STREET — Police investigated a harassing phone call report.
Bulloch County Animal Shelter
Surrendered by citizens — nine dogs and three cats from rural areas; three dogs and 12 cats from City of Statesboro.
Collected by humane officers — 11 dogs and three cats from rural areas; two dogs and no cats from City of Statesboro.
Adopted from shelter — seven dogs and no cats.
