Incidents
JOHNSON STREET — A couple argued over the man taking a TV, hamburger meat, chicken wings and chicken from the home.
THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — A woman threatened another with a box cutter.
WALMART — A man told police he saw an unknown person in a dark colored van shoot another vehicle. No one was in the vehicle, but it showed damage consistent with an air pellet gun.
In a separate incident a man shoplifted Old Spice body wash and Theraflu.
In another shoplifting incident, a woman stole fabric dye, batteries and flash lights and was also arrested on drug charges.
A man shoplifted a headset, ear buds and iPod case, while yet another woman stole several DVDs. And, a woman concealed an infant health kit in her purse and left without paying.
WEST INMAN STREET — A man struck another, causing a bloody nose.
EAST PARRISH STREET — A man reported stolen a tan 1991 Nissan Maxima.
STILES INN — A man said another man struck a mirror with a baseball bat.
PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — An officer saw three small children outside while two adults argued inside. A man was charged with battery on a police officer, simple assault on a police officer, obstruction and disorderly conduct.
In a separate incident a man said several people came to his house to fight, but he told them he did not know them and wanted no trouble. They chased him anyway and struck him several times, causing injuries to his mouth that required stitches.
JOHNSON STREET — A 59-year-old man said two men came into his home and struck him several times in the face, causing a laceration and visible injuries that required a trip to the emergency room.
WEST MAIN STREET —Two juveniles fought and one bit the other on the arm.

SILK LANE — (Portal) Two men were arrested for the theft of a grain trailer reported stolen from this location.
TEAL CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A couple argued over relationship issues.
US 301 SOUTH — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of a skill saw.
OGEECHEE TECHNICAL COLLEGE — (Statesboro) Someone cut two tires on a car.
THE BARN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A man said the park manager told him if he did not stop calling her about the neighbors he was going to get shot. The manager told deputies the complainant photographs and films neighbors and complains about them, and the neighbors are tired of this. She said she was just trying to warn him.
