PLANTATION MOBILE HOME PARK — (Brooklet) A man reported two tool bags with power tools stolen.
PECAN GROVE — (Portal) A man and woman argued after the man confronted his wife after she came home from work late, and he found texts on her phone from and to another man.
LEE AVENUE — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a washer and dryer after evicting a tenant.
OLD DILL ROAD — (Portal) A woman said someone damaged her mailbox and shot out the windows of an old ice cream truck.
BLACKBIRD DRIVE — (Statesboro) Deputies talking to complainants who reported items stolen from a vehicle noticed a small white cup containing what was believed to be a marijuana plant next to where the complainant was standing. The case remains under investigation.
WOODRUM PLACE — (Statesboro) A complainant reported an amplifier stolen.
Bulloch County Animal Shelter
The shelter reported the following activity during the week of May 6-12:
Surrendered by citizens — 15 dogs and 15 cats from rural county; three dogs and three cats from City of Statesboro.
Collected by officers — six dogs and three cats from rural county areas; three dogs and five cats from City of Statesboro.
Adopted from shelter — none.
Reclaimed by owners — two dogs.
Died at shelter — three dogs and six cats.
Euthanized — two dogs and 14 cats.
