INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    WHISTLESTOP CIRCLE — Investigators responded to a report of extortion. The case remains under investigation.
    PATRIOT INN — A man said a woman slapped and punched him in the face during an argument.
    HIGHWAY 24 — A woman said her ex-husband came to her location several times, unwanted, and harassed her.
    LANIER ROAD — A woman said a man came to her home, in spite of being told he was  not welcome, and grabbed her, punching and shoving her. A witness supported her story.
    JOHN’S PLACE — A female Bulloch County Jail inmate ordered to the facility escaped through an unlocked window. She was later returned to the jail and faces escape charges.
    BUCHAN ROAD — Someone broke through a door, causing damages, and stole a baker’s rack.
    ASHLEY LANE — A man said a woman threw a vase during an argument. She said they argued because he refused to take her to a funeral in Savannah, and he threw the vase down to get her in trouble with the law.
    PARKER’S / LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD — A man who was reportedly acting suspiciously was found to be intoxicated. He admitted having been drinking and smoking marijuana, and had been going back behind the store, where he had a bottle of Wild Irish Rose wine. He was arrested.
    WINDING WAY — A woman said someone entered her home and stole two iPhones that were inoperable and packaged to return to the company.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — A deputy transporting a woman for mental health evaluation noticed the patrol car seat and the woman’s pants were both wet with a “red liquid.”
    OGEECHEE RIVER/301 NORTH — A man stopped and asked a deputy if he could fish in the river at the landing. The man admitted he had no fishing license and kept talking while a deputy ran his tag and found out his license was suspended. Upon checking further, the deputy found marijuana in the man’s vehicle (after smelling it). He was arrested.
    HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A man fleeing from deputies at a license check was apprehended at Superior Mobile Home Sales after a brief foot chase following a car chase for several miles.

Statesboro Police Department
    CHANDLER ROAD — A man said his roommate struck him in the face with his hands, damaging his glasses.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued four traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
