Police report 3-25-11 - A woman said she received calls from a person distorting their voice

Dylan Chadwick Solomon, 28, Buttermilk Road, Sylvania – driving with a suspended license, seatbelt violation.

Thaddeus Lorenzo Walton, 22, Bermuda Run Avenue – driving with a suspended license, following too closely.

Melvin Leon Futch, 42, Inman Street - probation violation.

Alton Marcellus Williams Sr., 42, Williams Road – theft by receiving stolen property, theft by deception.

Caresse Alexandria Davis, 20, Lanier Drive – simple battery.

John Henry Knight, 57, Butler Street – failure to register as a convicted sex offender.

Ricky Hatchett, 25, Maryanne Circle, Savannah – simple battery, simple assault.

Jerod Marcus Littlejohn, 21, Lanier Drive – battery, probation violation.

Brett Michael Burnsed, 17, Rushing Road, Register – obstruction of an officer.

Katelyn Sha Watkins, 17, U.S. 80 West, Portal – giving false identity, obstruction, no driver’s license.

Clyde Thomas McFearin, 50, Fernwood Drive, Ellabell – battery.

Tony Michael Branch, 42, Longwood Drive – battery.

Officers issued one traffic citation Wednesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents

THE GROVE APARTMENTS – A woman said she received calls from an unknown person distorting their voice, and had a message written on her car window.

FLETCHER DRIVE – A woman said her estranged husband called five times and texted her 24 times after she asked him not to do so.

MIKELL STREET – A woman said two other females called her cell phone, making threats of bodily harm.

EAST INMAN STREET – A man and woman argued over their juvenile son.

WENDWOOD DRIVE – A Wii, games, a dremel tool, a bottle of rum, bottle of vodka, a laptop computer, sunglasses, GBI award plaques belonging to the victim’s father, a fireproof safe, a bucket of change, autographed Mickey Mantle baseball, and other items were stolen from the home while several other valuable items were left undisturbed.

 

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

PINEMOUNT SUBDIVISION – (Statesboro) Someone tried to pry a door open.

POJO’S GAS & GO – (Register) Deputies were called to the U.S. 30 South station for a civil dispute.

CREEKWOOD DRIVE – (Portal) A juvenile left school after being disciplined, and never returned home. Efforts to find the teen around Lakeside Drive and other locations were unfruitful.

BEN GRADY COLLINS ROAD – (Portal) A woman heard a noise and heard someone rattling her door handle, trying to get in. When she looked outside she saw a man running away. She dropped to the floor and crawled to the phone and called her father, who lived nearby. Then they called deputies, who found no one in the vicinity.

Georgia Southern University Incidents

 Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted four motorists and responded to one alarm Wednesday.
 UNIVERSITY VILLAS - A dealership sign was taken from a vehicle.

KENNEDY HALL – A bicycle was reported stolen.
SOUTERN PINES – Someone reported the theft of an iPod.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Department- 10 calls.

Statesboro Police Department- 30 calls.

University Police Department – no calls.

Georgia State Patrol – five calls.

Candler County Sheriff's Department – 13 calls.

Evans County Sheriff's Department – two calls.

Claxton Police Department – one call.

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:

Statesboro Fire Department – five calls.

Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters – four calls.

Metter Fire Department – one call.

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:

Bulloch County EMS – four accident calls, one fire call and 15 medical calls.

Candler County EMS –four medical calls.

Evans County EMS – three medical calls.

Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday:  three calls to Bulloch County First Responders, two miscellaneous calls, and one call each to Bulloch Humane Enforcement, Bulloch County Correctional Institute, Georgia Forestry Bulloch County, Georgia Forestry Candler County.
