Statesboro Police Department

MIDTOWN BAR & GRILL - Police responded to a report Friday of an attack on a bar employee and arrested a man for aggravated battery, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
MORRIS STREET - A man, 56, reported he was attacked Friday in a parking lot by a group of people he didn't know and lost his cellphone during the altercation.
BELK - Store loss prevention personnel reported a shoplifting incident Sunday in which two juvenile girls stuffed clothing items valued at $141 into a backpack and left the store. The girls were arrested, a report was made to the Department of Juvenile Justice, and the suspects were released to their guardians.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
BULLOCH COUNTY - A woman reported that her mother-in-law has been the victim of various types of fraudulent activity, in which multiple people accessed her financial resources and had her make lengthy international calls.
RALEIGH COURT - A woman reported receiving a letter from Wal-Mart stating that she had been approved for a Wal-Mart credit card, but she had not applied for one. When she called the company, an employee told her that her Social Security number had been used to apply for the card.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued four traffic warnings but no citations and assisted six motorists.
