Juveniles were arrested for shoplifting $120 worth of camping, hunting or fishing equipment. They were reported to the Department of Juvenile Justice and turned over to guardians.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH – A state trooper contacted the sheriff’s office by radio seeking response to a call by a man who said his ex-girlfriend threatened him with a pipe. The woman said she was swinging the pipe because she was angry that he refused to bring her gas for her disabled car, and that she was possibly going to hit his truck.

▲ SINKHOLE ROAD – A man caught a woman in his yard with his son’s skateboard in her back seat. She claimed to be another woman (using her name) and solicited charity donations. The man made some calls and it was discovered she was not who she said, and was wanted on outstanding warrants. She was charged with theft.

▲ TEAL CIRCLE – A man said he found a note on his windshield from a woman against whom he has a protective order.

 

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST – A woman reported three items totaling $100 in value stolen. Reports did not list the items stolen.

▲ DURHAM SPORTS – Juveniles were arrested for shoplifting $120 worth of camping, hunting or fishing equipment. They were reported to the Department of Juvenile Justice and turned over to guardians.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER – Juveniles were apprehended shoplifting headphones, camping/hunting/fishing equipment and miscellaneous items valued at $200. They were arrested, reported to the Department of Juvenile Justice and turned over to guardians.
