Police Report 11-3-11; A woman reported five fraudulent charges on her Sea Island Debit Card account

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Jeffrey Lee Raymond, 28, Church Street — Driving Under the Influence, Driving with Suspended License, Obstruction, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Safety Restraint Violation, and Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in Vehicle.
 
Incidents
    SPRING HILL SUITES — A man said his car window was busted and more than $975 in cash and property stolen from the vehicle.
    BAYMONT INN AND SUITES —  A man reported an entering auto, in which a computer, clothing and other property had been stolen.
    BLAND AVENUE —  A woman reported an entering auto at a residence. An IPod, clothing, and prescription medication were reported stolen.

    KENNEDY BRIDGE ROAD— (Register) A woman reported an unruly juvenile. Mother reported that her daughter ran away from home and, prior to the officer’s arrival, called from a blocked cell-phone number to say she did not like it at home and was not returning.
    HARVEY WILSON ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman reported a burglary at her residence. Complainant said 64’ television was stolen and a wooden dinner table destroyed.
    OLD RIVER RD. NORTH — A woman reported five fraudulent charges on her Sea Island Debit Card account. Complainant said she was in possession of her card during each purchase.
    ROCKY FORD ROAD — A man reported the theft of a Trane 2 and 1/2 ton Heat Pump from his residence.
    SR-119 — (Ellabell) A man called 911 to report a dispute with his mother-in-law, who slapped his hand and jumped on him during an argument. The mother-in-law also called 911 because the complainant physically touched her when his nose touched her nose while face-to-face during the argument. The altercation originated, according to the complainant, when he attempted to find out why his son received a failing grade on an assignment at school and why the son was trying to get a phone number of a suspected drug dealer. Both individuals agreed for the man to leave the residence with his children and some personal belongings.
    U.S. 301 SOUTH — (Statesboro) A man reported that an ex-girlfriend was harassing him and a new girlfriend. The complainant said his ex-girlfriend, who he broke up with one year ago, punctured his car’s tires, stalked outside the home of his new girlfriend, and was responsible for harassing phone calls, email messages and Facebook messages. The ex-girlfriend reportedly sent an email to the complainant’s new girlfriend, bragging about puncturing the tires.

    Officers issued six traffic citations, nine traffic warnings, assisted five motorists and investigated two accidents Tuesday.
    CENTER FOR ARTS – A refrigerator was damaged in an office.
    UNIVERSITY PARK – Two windows were damaged.
