INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department

MIDTOWN BAR & GRILL - Police responded to a reported aggravated assault with a gun. Reports did not list additional details except that the victim was a 21-year-old male.
SOUTH COLLEGE STREET - A noise complaint led to the arrest of a man for public intoxication.
WEST JONES AVENUE - Animal control officers seized a pony that was tied up in a yard with a rope around its neck and leg.
LANIER DRIVE - A woman said a man struck her in the face, then fled after an argument.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A man and a female juvenile were charged with shoplifting $221 worth of clothing, a $37 pair of shoes, an $8 wallet, a $24 hat and a $16 bottle of perfume.
CAMEO COURT - A woman said that during a physical fight with her estranged husband, he snatched her Taser from her hand and threw it into some bushes. The Taser was damaged, she said.
CHANDLER ROAD - Two men were robbed by a suspect with an "undetermined firearm" of a $1,250 handgun, $140 cash, driver's license and Social Security card. Reports gave no further details.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
HIGHWAY 46/RED HILL CHURCH ROAD - Someone reported seeing two people engaged in a dispute. Deputies located the parties involved and learned the dispute had been about a cellphone.
HIGHWAYS 301/46 - A woman who was driving while intoxicated and on the wrong side of the road fled from state troopers and deputies and ended up crashing.
MIXON ROAD - A man parked his truck, went inside and returned to find it had rolled into a fire pit that was still burning, got stuck and burned.
HIGHTOWER ROAD - A man told deputies that a man standing in the roadway with a baseball bat struck his car, breaking a tail light. The offended was not located.
BURKHALTER PLANTATION - A deputy saw a man on a four-wheeler who was driving erratically and jumping driveways. When deputies confronted him, the man fled, went home and shut his garage door as deputies watched. They knocked on the door and a roommate answered. Deputies asked to see the man they saw on the four-wheeler. The roommate denied knowing anything about a four-wheeler, but another person at the residence told deputies that the offender had come home and told him to lock the doors because cops were coming. The offender, found to be intoxicated, was arrested.
OLD LEEFIELD ROAD - Someone entered a vehicle, damaged the dash to remove a radio and left behind a box cutter. They left the radio on a shelf but stole an old pocketbook and a 5-gallon bucket of pecans.
VETERAN'S MEMORIAL PARKWAY - Deputies pulled over a man who was driving on the wrong side of the roadway into oncoming traffic. He was found to be intoxicated and admitted to drinking two beers and a shot of liquor. He was arrested.
BROOKLET-LEEFIELD ROAD - A woman said her husband threatened to hit her car with a baseball bat because she brought their daughter home late.
SHUMAN DRIVE - A man reported the theft of a chainsaw and air compressor from a shed.
MILL CREEK LODGE - A man said that another man told him that he bought tools from someone, and the complainant claimed the tools had been stolen from him. The complainant said he didn't know they were missing until the other man told him about buying them. The buyer refused to say who sold him the tools.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued nine traffic citations and 10 traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Troopers investigated 26 crashes with four reported injuries. They also issued six citations and one warning for seatbelt violations, one citation and one warning for child restraint violations and 20 citations and 44 warnings for speeding.
