Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    BELL ROAD — A woman said a man made threatening comments on social media, and she feared for her safety. He also called and texted her, threatening to harm her. The man is a former boyfriend with whom she lived in Screven County. Deputies gave her information about Safe Haven.
    RAINBOW ROAD — A man left a vehicle at a residence, with the owner’s permission, when the car’s battery died. The owner then sold the car, a 1993 Ford Mustang, to another man, and when they returned to get the car, it was gone. The residence owner and another man who lived there said they did not know who took the car.
    MEADOW DRIVE — A woman reported two suspicious vehicles with occupants taking photos of her home. Deputies learned the suspects were with a realty company, taking photo assessments of homes in foreclosure. The complainant said she had just switched mortgage companies.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES — A woman claimed her boyfriend struck her, but in the process of investigating, deputies learned she had outstanding warrants and that she was making a false claim. She was arrested.
    HUCKNALL PLACE — A man said someone broke into his vehicle, shattering the window, and took a Glock handgun, a Remington rifle with a Bushnell scope, and a camouflage range bag containing ammunition. His wallet, lying in plain view, was left alone, and the offenders unsecured a four-wheeler on a trailer attached to his truck but did not take it. The man and his wife were awakened by the noise and saw his truck alarm lights flashing, which he stopped by using a key fob.
