    BROOK RUN DRIVE —  Deputies spoke with a woman around 11:15 p.m. Saturday who reported that an 8-year-old member of a boys’ home said he was touched inappropriately by a 15-year-old. The victim said the teen awakened him and solicited oral sex, promising him a flashlight if he did not tell. Home rules ban residents from being in each other’s room, and room checks are held every 15 minutes, according to reports. The teen had been found in the victim’s closet previously. The case is being investigated.
    ZETWELL ROAD — Deputies tried to stop a vehicle around 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, but the driver fled. The vehicle was found abandoned on Five Chop Road, and the driver had fled into the woods. He was not apprehended.

    Troopers investigated 37 crashes with seven reported injuries; issued two child restraint citations, one child restraint warning, 15 speeding citations and 40 speeding warnings; and apprehended one wanted person.
