    HARVEY’S/FAIR ROAD — Someone stole $50 from a vending machine.
    STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — An iPod, phone charger, notebooks, storage containers, GPS unit and charger and car tool kit were stolen from a car.
    COLLEGE PLAZA/180 FITNESS — A woman reported a Coach purse, cash, credit cards and jewelry stolen from her car while she worked out.

Arrests
    David Benjamin Deloach Jr., 21, U.S. 301 North —speeding, suspended license.
    Roland James McClaind, 33, Nevils Groveland Road, Pembroke — felony theft by taking.
    William Ernest Webb, 48, Dry Branch Village, Register — false report of a crime.

Incidents
    NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — (Statesboro) A man received a message from someone claiming to be his grandson, and who said they needed $3,000 for a fine for possession of an illegal fish in Bolivia. The man sent the money via Western Union, and when he tried conversing with the person using the number from which they called, they blocked him after receiving the Western Union code he provided.
    SOUTHEAST BULLOCH MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Brooklet) A student was arrested for stealing rocks from science class. It was a repeat offense.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) A woman who became unruly while discussing her child, a student, was made to leave after using profanity.
    PIKE ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said her husband threatened to hit her with his cane. He told deputies he did not mean what he said.
