May 14 - Statesboro Police Arrests Alexander Hill Jr., 36, East Jones Avenue theft by shoplifting

Statesboro Police Arrests
    Alexander Hill Jr., 36, East Jones Avenue — theft by shoplifting, criminal trespass.
    Francisco Rodriguez—Crecencio, 32, Pintail Lane — Defective equipment, driving without a license.
    Christy D. Williams, 29, Sprayberry Court — driving with a suspended license, defective equipment.
    Demetrius Terell Rawls, 23,Pulaski Highway — driving with a suspended license, seat belt violation.
    Michael Donnta Jones, 21, U.S. 301 South — expired tag, suspended license.
    Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Arrests made Wednesday and Thursday will be published Saturday.
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 12 traffic violation citations Wednesday.
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    No arrests filed.
Statesboro Police Incidents
     DELUXE INN — A man said three men approached him from behind and kicked him, then took his wallet.
    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A woman said a man followed her in the parking lot, to Walgreens and then around the store.
    UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS — Someone discharged fire extinguishers in the computer lab.
    WALGREENS — A woman shoplifted two pregnancy tests but was gone when police arrived.
    WEST PARRISH STREET — A man reported the theft of a rake and sprinkler by two men and a woman in a purple van.
    VIDEO WAREHOUSE — A man was arrested for shoplifting two videos from the store's adult video room.
    EAGLE VILLAS — Two women argued over a missing cat and one pulled the other's hair.
    STATESBORO HERALD — A reporter called police to turn over a suspicious letter and fictitious check for more than $4,900, that was apparently a scam. The letter advised the recipient to deposit the check and send two money orders for the majority of the sum to two different people. The scam offered a job as a mystery shopper.
    THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — Someone stole a TV and DVD player.
    PINE STREET — A woman reported the theft of clothes, shoes, $150 cash, a VCR, ring, TV and DVD player.
    MATTIE LIVELY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — A video caught two women and a man stealing change and snacks from the school.
    WEST INMAN STREET — A man reported the theft of a washer and dryer.
    INSTITUTE STREET — A man reported several burglaries where appliances and other fixtures were stolen from rental property.
    HARVEY'S/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — A woman reported a tan and white 1990 Ford F150 was stolen.
     NORTH WALNUT STREET  — Someone stole two skil saws form a truck.
    QUALITY INN AND SUITES — A portable radio and winch cord were stolen from a vehicle,
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
     Incidents will be reported Saturday.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued 14 warnings, conducted one road check and  and investigated five crashes with one reported injury Wednesday.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers worked one accident, responded to two alarms, and assisted one injured person. A bicycle was reported stolen from the Recreation Activity Center Wednesday.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department—  23 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department—  eight calls.
    University Police Department —   no calls.
    Georgia State Patrol —  seven  calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — three calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department —   two  calls.
    Claxton Police Department — one call.
    Brooklet Police Department —  two  calls.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, a fire call and seven  medical calls.
    Candler County EMS — five  medical calls.
    Evans County EMS —  one accident call and three medical calls.
    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday:  three calls to Bulloch County First Responders and a call to Emanuel County 911.
