Brooklet Police Incidents

Officers issued two speeding citations and a ticket for driving with a suspended license the week of Jan. 24-30.

Officers issued two seat belt violation citations, one driving with a suspended license citation, two tickets for improper passing, and three for failure to stop at a stop sign during the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 6.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports

The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Jan. 31 – Feb. 6.

Animals incoming:

     Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas- nine dogs.

     Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – six dogs and one cat.

     Surrendered by citizens – four dogs and nine cats.

 

Animals outgoing:

     Shelter adoptions - 11 dogs and five cats.

     Euthanized from isolation - 21 dogs and 13 cats.

 

Money collected - $848
