The Brooklet Peanut Festival is Saturday and pickers are working overtime to ensure there are enough green and boiled peanuts for the big crowds.  Once picked, the nuts are taken to the Sunrise Produce stand at the corner of Cromley Road and Highway 80 East in Brooklet. James Sanders, who owns Sunrise, said there will be plenty of peanuts for Saturday's festival that begins with a 5K run at 7 a.m. and then the parade at 10 a.m.
