A man stabbed another early Thursday morning at Campus Crossings Apartments during a fight over a woman, police said. Christopher Ian Belgrave, 21, of Fayetteville, Ga., is charged with aggravated assault after stabbing Oscar Alexander Polanco during a dispute at the Lanier Drive apartment complex, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said. Statesboro police were called to East Georgia Regional Medical Center at 2:22 a.m. Thursday and spoke with Polanco, who “stated that he was involved in an altercation at the Campus Crossing Apartment Complex and was stabbed by Christopher Ian Belgrave,” Turner said.
