Family, frogs, fireworks mark America's 250th birthday

Bulloch County's annual Firecracker Fest was Saturday — the Fourth of July — at Mill Creek Park, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of America. The free event attracted hundreds for Independence Day fun that included a Frog Jumping Contest, Greased Pole Climb, lots of inflatables and a massive fireworks display.
