ä THE LOGIC and Accuracy Testing of the Voting Equipment for the Nov. 6 General Election will begin Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the basement of the North Main Annex, North Main Street.

ä TODDLER TIME will be held Wednesday at the Statesboro Regional Library beginning at 10:30 a.m. For ages 2–5.

ä WIDOWERS’ GRIEF Support and Education Group, for men who have experienced the death of a spouse/significant one, will meet Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the small conference room of Ogeechee Area Hospice. A light breakfast and coffee will be provided.

ä AIRPORT COMMITTEE Meeting will be held Thursday at noon in the conference room of the airport.

ä HOMESCHOOL ART Day will be held Thursday at Statesboro Regional Library beginning at 2 p.m. For homeschooled students only.

ä TEEN MAKERSPACE will be open Thursday, 4–6 p.m., in the Teen Activity Room of Statesboro Regional Library. For ages 12–18.

ä TUTORING will be offered Thursday, 5:30–7 p.m., at Statesboro Regional Library. For grades K–12.

ä AMERICAN LEGION Post 90 will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post home, Rucker Lane.

ä BULLY PROOF Pt. 1 will be held Thursday at Statesboro Regional Library beginning at 6 p.m. For grades 3–5.

ä OGEECHEE RIFLES Camp #941, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will meet Thursday at Fordham’s Farmhouse, Highway 80 East. The Dutch treat meal begins at 6 p.m. followed by the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m. Program: Sen. Jack Hill (R-Reidsville) will speak about monument protection legislation which will likely be discussed in the 2019 session of the Georgia General Assembly.

ä ELECTION of the NAACP’s Bulloch County Branch Nominating Committee will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at 18 North College Street.

ä THE BULLOCH COUNTY Historical Society will meet Sept. 24 in the fellowship hall of Pittman Park United Methodist Church, Fair Road. Program: The Statesboro Pilots and Joe Louis Reliford, who became one of the world’s youngest professional baseball players, will be presented by Darin Van Tassell. A Dutch treat lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Program begins at noon.
