Anderson named executive director at Willow Pond

        Willow Pond Senior Living Community named Jenny Lynn Anderson recently its new executive director.
        Anderson is a veteran public relations and marketing professional who has worked in private consulting, Willingway Hospital and the Georgia World Congress Center during the past 27 years.
        Anderson holds a Communication Arts degree from Georgia Southern University and is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America. She is an award-winning author and speaker and has served on numerous local boards. A native of Bulloch County, she and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, Morgan and Allison.
        Anderson succeeds Karen Martin, who served as executive director of since 2003. Martin retired effective Sept. 1.
        "Jenny Lynn's broad-based experience in public relations, as well as her deep roots in our community, make her a great addition to the exceptional caregiving team already in place at Willow Pond," said Bill Wright, chief operating officer of Georgia Living Management.
        Willow Pond is owned by Georgia Living Management, Inc. and opened in 1997 as a personal care home featuring 30 suites. In 2013, 11 additional suites were added in the Seasons Memory Care Alzheimer's wing.
