Miss Meredith Kay Clark and Mr. William Blake Bloser were united in marriage on the 25th day of October 2014 at 4:30 in the afternoon at Tryphena’s Garden in Fort Valley, Georgia. Elder Randy M. Waters, pastor of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, officiated over the double-ring ceremony.
Music was provided by Macon harpist Calista Anne Koch.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis George Clark of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lindberg Mallard and Mrs. Roy Pierce Clark Sr. and the late Mr. Roy Pierce Clark Sr., all of Statesboro.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Bloser of Warner Robins. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde W. Davis of Glennville and Mr. and Mrs. Barrie Lee Bloser of Portal.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Her bridal gown featured a sweetheart neckline with pleats across the bodice. A full ballgown skirt with tulle overlay and lace appliqués cascaded down the cathedral train. Delicate lace adorned the sleeves and gracefully carried up around the high neck with classic satin buttons down the back of the gown. The bride wore a simple headpiece of pearls and lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses and white calla lilies. Attached to the bouquet was a sterling silver heart-shaped locket, a gift from the bride's parents, engraved with the couple's wedding date and the wedding dates and pictures of the parents of the couple's parents.
The bride chose her childhood friend, Betsy Kate Woodrum of Macon, as maid of honor. Her bridesmaids were Jenna Leigh Bloser of Warner Robins, sister of the groom; Ivie Marie Davis of Cumming, college friend of the bride; Alyssa Leigh Huffingham of Statesboro, childhood friend of the bride; and Chloe Elizabeth Radford of Macon, childhood friend of the bride. The bridesmaids wore identical full-length, bateau-neck, matte ocean-blue satin dresses with a bow at the shoulder. They carried bouquets of miniature white and mango calla lilies.
William Lee Bloser of Warner Robins served as his son’s best man.  Groomsmen were Andrew Davis Bloser of Atlanta, brother of the groom; Dennis Mitchell Clark of Statesboro, brother of the bride; Bowen Thomas Love of Atlanta, friend of the groom; and Charles Matthew Summers of Athens, friend of the groom. Jordan Ben Mallard of Anderson, South Carolina, cousin of the bride, and Hunter Lee Anderson of Statesboro, cousin of the groom, served as ushers.
Abbigail Brooke Clark, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. Her satin dress was adorned with beaded lace and her headpiece of pearls and lace matched that of the bride's. Harrison Mitchell Clark, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer and announced the bride’s arrival in his “Here comes the Bride” wagon pulled by his dad, Dennis Mitchell Clark.
After the wedding ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner and reception in the Garden Hall at Tryphena’s. Music was provided by Calista Anne Koch and Rusty Pearson of Entourage Entertainment of Perry.
Following the reception, the couple left for a wedding trip to Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
