We are pleased to announce that on May 24th, 2008, Trevor J. Alflen and Nikkie M. Zimmerman were married by Pastor Ron Andrew at Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church at 1 p.m.
Trevor, a 1997 graduate of Wayland High in Wayland, Mich., is currently employed at Gulfstream Aerospace as a lead coordinator and enjoys aircraft. He has done four honorable years in the United States Air Force stationed in Valdosta at Moody Air Force Base. He enjoys bowling, fixing tractors, collecting Case Model tractors and of course spending time with family. He has an older sister, Petra, and one brother, Heath, all residing in Michigan. His parents, Steve and Jill Alflen of Michigan, will be attending the wedding and are pleased.
Nikkie, a 1996 graduate of Brookside High in Sheffield Lake, Ohio, currently is a certified medical assistant and enjoys working with cardiac patients. Her favorite pastime is appreciating the love of a family and having a close relationship with her immediate family. She enjoys painting, reading and devoting time to the Red Cross. Her mother and father, Lloyd and Shirley Zimmerman, are also very pleased to announce this engagement. They are currently residents of Statesboro and have been in Bulloch County for three years. She also has one brother, Todd, who still resides in Ohio.
Trevor and Nikkie also reside in Statesboro. They have two daughters, Madison, 5, and Juliette, 7, who are the joys in their lives other then each other. They have been courting for 10 months and decided to devote their lives to each other and sharing special moments with family and friends. They also want to thank "The Lord above "for all the great things He has done for them and sending His special blessings upon them.
