    Jessica Brooks Turner became the bride of Christopher Ray Ellrod during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony held on April 28, 2007, at the Nevils United Methodist Church. James Taylor officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Dean Turner of Brooklet and Mr. and Mrs. Tal Muary Akins of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Turner and Mr. and Mrs. Randall Woods.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ellrod and Mr. and Mrs. Jason Livie and is the grandson of Roberta Ellrod and the late “Jack” Ellrod, Sheigko Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Livie.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless tulle sheath dress with a shirred bodice and beaded lace appliques and a chapel-length train.
    Sara Turner, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Raini Turner, Whitney Turner, Jada Akins, Amanda Ellrod and Candice Strickland. Flower girls were Jaci Ellrod and McKenzie Livie.
    Best man was Dustin Ellrod, the groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Joel Bettis, Tucker Bettis, C.J. Butler, Daniel Deloach and Brandon Johnson. Ushers were Asa Akins and Elijah Akins. Terry Dean Turner Jr. was ring bearer.
    Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ellrod.
    The couple honeymooned in Daytona, Fla., and now resides in Rincon.
