Mrs. Jewell Hendrix Kicklighter of Statesboro announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Jewell Elizabeth “Judy” Hendrix, to Robert J. Poole of Pelion, S.C.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Rubbert Hendrix and the granddaughter of the late Lucian and Beatrice Gerrald of Statesboro. She is currently employed with the Continuing Education Center at Georgia Southern University.
The groom-elect is the son of the late Kinley and Frances Poole, Pelion, S.C., and the grandson of the late Jake and Mary Poole, Gaston, S.C. He is employed with Jeffcoat Builders, Inc.
The ceremony is planned for Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, located at 889 Highway 24, Statesboro.
