Mr. James Shelton Evans of Statesboro announces the engagement of his daughter, Staci Evans, to Jeffrey Bennett, son of Rodney and Annette Bennett of Folkston, Ga. Staci is also the daughter of the late Marcia Glover Evans of Statesboro.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Estelle Evans of Dade City, Fla., and the late Mrs. Mildred Glover of Saint Simons Island, Ga. Ms. Evans graduated from Georgia Southern University with an Education Specialist degree and is currently teaching at Saint Simons Elementary School.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Lois Bennett and the late W.R. Bennett of Brunswick, Ga., and the late Mrs. Virginia Saul of Amelia Island, Fla., and Mrs. Jean McManus and the late Mr. John McManus. He graduated from Presbyterian College with a Business degree and is currently employed by the Appraisal Center of Saint Simons Island.
The ceremony is planned for July 26, 2008, at 6 p.m. at Pittman Park United Methodist Church.
