Steve and Roxanne Deal of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Morgan Deal of Statesboro, to Jonathan Michael Taylor, son of Bill and Linda Taylor.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Morgan and Jewel Deal of Statesboro and Bill and Norma Smith of Hiawassee. She graduated in 2003 from Statesboro High School and will graduate from Georgia Southern University in May 2007 with a degree in early childhood education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of George and Jo Ann Andrew of Stanford, Ky., and Loraine Taylor of Statesboro and the late William S. Taylor Jr. He is a 2003 graduate of Statesboro High School and attended Georgia Southern University. He is co-owner of Quality Custom Builders in Statesboro.
The couple plan to wed on May 12, 2007, at 6 p.m. at Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church.
