The bride-elect is the daughter of the late J. Allen Deal. She is the granddaughter of Lawrence and Allene Williams and Betty and Harry Deal of Statesboro. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of arts in history and a minor in justice studies. Meribeth is employed by Cobb Middle School in Tallahassee, Fla.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Walter and Lois Cassens and Charlotte Burns of Sterling, Ill. He is a graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, with a bachelor of arts in business administration, emphasis in marketing. Keith is employed by The Stanley Works in Gainesville, Fla.
The couple plans to wed on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at Creekside Restaurant on Wilmington Island.
