Georgia Southern is making the most of a five-game home stand. The Lady Eagles (5-8, 1-3) will be looking for their fourth straight win when they meet Samford (6-6, 1-2) at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Hanner Field House.
    The fast improving Lady Eagles are coming off their first Southern Conference win, a 67-48 decision over Wofford, as three players hit double figures. Meredith Frye and Tashayla Steele had 11 each, and steady Mimi DuBose added 10.  
    Facts and Figures: Admission to the game is only $1. Samford is coming off a 23-11 season, and has won 20 games four of the last six years. The Lady Bulldogs have played only three games at home, the last on Dec. 17.

    Notable: The Bulldogs lead the SoCon in 3-point shooting, and had a school record 16 against Jacksonville State this season.
