SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Victor Lamar Wilson, age 57, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Savannah, Georgia.
    He was a native of Bulloch County, a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church and a former employee of Norcom Incorporation, Griffin, Georgia, and a 1980 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School.
    He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory: his sons, Vic’Telus Hans Wilson, Temple, Texas; and Da’Vassi White, Atlanta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Vic’Telus Jr. and Florestine Wilson, Temple, Texas; five loving sisters, Ruby (George, deceased) Jones and Carolyn (Calvin) Mainer, Savannah, Georgia; Geneva White, Brooklet, Georgia; LaBlanche Hagins, Statesboro, Georgia; and Jo Ann (Lee) Harrison Pollock, Miami, Florida; five brothers, Jackie (Willie Pearl) Clark, Ricky (Gail) Wilson, Carnell (Cynthia) Wilson, all of Statesboro, Georgia; James Roy Wilson Jr., Brooklet, Georgia; and Roy (Janice) Harrison of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of loving nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, relatives and a multitude of friends and associates.
    The funeral service for Mr. Wilson will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with the pastor, the Reverend John T. McPhatter, presiding, and the Reverend Brock Taylor, eulogist. Burial will be in A.C. Dunlap Memorial Cemetery.
    Viewing will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, beginning at noon until. Family visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Wilson will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
