Sharon Franks Smith, 52, of Portal, and wife of Harold Eugene Smith, died early Sunday, January 20, 2019.
Born in Okeechobee, Florida, she was a daughter of Dennis and Helen Franks.
Mrs. Smith was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker and retired barber.
Sharon loved music and for many years sang in a band.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Grant Franks Moore.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Smith was survived by her daughter, Sylvia Moore Rosselle (Shaun) of Metter; her sons, Sonny Smith (Candy Browning) of Lakeland, Georgia; and Danny Lamb of Okeechobee, Florida; her father, Dennis Franks of Wauchula, Florida; sister, Tina Moore of Metter; three brothers, David Franks, Mark Franks and Aaron Franks, all of Wauchula, Florida; three grandchildren, Lorilei Moore, Christian Rosselle and Lemmie Rosselle; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 2 o’clock in the afternoon Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
