STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Carolyn Wright, age 64, passed into rest Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
    The Bulloch County native was the daughter of the late Ernest “Jim” and Anna Lou Lundy Eason. She received her formal education in the Bulloch County School System and was a graduate of the Statesboro High School Class of 1974. She also attended Ogeechee Technical College.
    Mrs. Wright was retired from the Bulloch County Board of Education as an administrative assistant for Julia P. Bryant Elementary School, where she touched many lives through her love and her dedicated service.
    She will always be remembered by the joy she gave through her radiant smile.
    Mrs. Carolyn Wright was a devoted member of the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church.
    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by his siblings, Roy, Randolf, Ernestine, Donald, James Willie and Billy Eason.
    She is survived by her partner, Larry Deloach, Statesboro, Ga.; sons, Remarko Raphael Wright, Statesboro, Ga.; and Rashad Ralphil (Tiffany LeAnn) Wright, Tulsa, Okla.; their father, Donald Wright, Statesboro, Ga.; her grandchildren, Kiera Kiana Wright, Kaila Kashawn Wright, Kaiden Rossland Dobyns and Karsyn Reen Wright and Deshawn Marquez Houston; four sisters, Claudell (Andrew) Postell, Rochester, N.Y.; Helen Walker of Statesboro, Ga.; Lizetta (Lyndon) Bellamy, Fayetteville, N.C.; and Liz Ingram, Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, June (Tammy) Eason, Augusta, Ga.; an aunt, Lillie Bell Lundy, Statesboro, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Queen Eason Mikell and Frankie Eason, both of Statesboro, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    A viewing for Mrs. Carolyn Wright will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, from the hours of 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
    Mrs. Wright will lie in state on the day of the service from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
    The funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Wright will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Dr. Francys Johnson, pastor, officiating.
    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social-distancing will be enforced at the funeral home and funeral services. We ask that you adhere to all CDC guidelines.
    Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
