NEVILS, Ga. -- Mr. Hubert Floyd Stewart Sr., age 84, died Monday at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
The Bulloch County native was the son of the late Hardy Everett Stewart and Claudia Virginia Waters Stewart.
He was a graduate of Statesboro High School. He was a retired sheet metal worker, retiring from Plant Vogtle.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Roberts and Kellie Stewart of Nevils; a son and daughter-in-law, Hubert Stewart Jr. and Krista Stewart of Nevils; five grandsons, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons, a great-granddaughter and a brother and sister-in-law, George and Dot Stewart of Statesboro.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
The graveside service and burial will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
