STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Donna Sue Davis Hodges, age 54, died Thursday evening at Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville, Georgia.
    The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County retired as an inspector with the Georgia Federal State Inspector Service in 2016 following 15 years of service.
    Donna was a Christian.
    Her greatest joy was her family, and especially her grandchildren.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, Orbie Lewis Davis and Mildred Gay; and her brother, Ricky Davis.
    Surviving are a son, Larry Lee Hodges Jr. of Statesboro; three daughters, Jennifer Baker, Jessica Hodges and Amy Faunce, all of Statesboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Michael Parker of Metter; two half brothers and their wives, Tommy and Jessica Davis and Terry and Lauren Davis, all of Portal; and four grandchildren, Dlyen Baker, Elizabeth Martinez, Elijah Hodges and Larry Lane Leggett.
    The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
    The graveside service and burial will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Portal City Cemetery.
