STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Beautine Anderson Gregory, age 99, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a native of Bulloch County and had lived many, many years in New York before returning to Statesboro.
She is survived by two sisters, Glen Era Walker, Savannah, Ga.; and Erselyn Simmons, Statesboro, Ga.; nieces and nephews, Roslyn (Chris) Butler, Savannah, Ga.; Judy Days Dee, Stone Mountain, Ga.; Forest (Sonji) Johnson, Atlanta, Ga.; Anthony (Joyce) Simmons, Statesboro, Ga.; Bobby Simmons, Tampa, Fla.; Ursula (Jacob) Crawford, Savannah, Ga.; Angela (John) Joseph, Atlanta, Ga.; Tamela (Mark) Peacock, Atlanta, G.; and Brantley (Jameria) Simmons, Atlanta, GA.; Forest Johnson Jr., Chase Simmons and Sidney Grace Simmons; dedicated friends and caregivers, Petronia (John) Hunter and Wyomia Timmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Gregory will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the James R. Barnes Mortuary Chapel with Minister Tracey Branch as eulogist. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Public viewing will be held on Friday at the funeral home from noon until 7 p.m. There will be no formal visitation and no viewing after the eulogy on Saturday.
