POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -- Mr. Carson Sapp Jr., age 49, passed into rest Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Broward Health North.
    The native of Bulloch County, Georgia, resided in Pompano Beach, Florida, for many years and was employed with Broward Mental Health as a mental health technician.
    Mr. Sapp was a graduate of Statesboro High School class of 1987 and a graduate of Clark Atlanta University.
    He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Amoy Sapp, Lauderhill, Fla.; and Carson Sapp III, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his father, Carson (Brenda) Sapp Sr., Register, Ga.; his mother, Ida Mincey, Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Latisha Sapp, Metter, Ga.; Tamika Sapp, Register, Ga.; Carsha (Brandon) Lovett, Sylvania, Ga.; brothers, Stacy Sapp, Augusta, Ga.; Clifford Sapp, Statesboro, Ga.; Lamont Parrish, Alabama; Mario Oglesby, Forsyth, Ga.; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
    The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the New Hope Baptist Church, 6790 Kennedy Bridge Road Register, Georgia. The Rev. Gregory Thomas, pastor, and the Rev. S. Maurice Hill, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
    Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
