Mr. Berneal Williams
Mr. Berneal Williams, age 66, passed into rest Monday, December 24, 2018, at the Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center.
    Mr. Williams was born in Screven County, Georgia, to the late Bernie L. Williams and the late Elnora Cheathem King. He received his public education in the Bulloch County School System and was a graduate of the Portal High School class of 1972.
    “Bernie” was a faithful member of the Hodges Grove Baptist Church, where he served as an usher until his health failed.
    In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, who helped rear him, James L. King; siblings, James L. King Jr. and Valerie Littles.
    His memories are left to be cherished by: a brother and sister-in-law, Joe Allen (Rosalyn) King Sr., Statesboro, Ga.; a sister and brother-in-law, Alvira (Mark) Frison, Statesboro, Ga.; loving nieces, Elnora (Stanley) White, Lasara (Stanley Jermaine) Mitchell, Ros (Greg) Roberson, Alajean Hughes, Alvria Lawrence, Stacy (Akeem) Grant and Dayanna Littles; nephews, Larry A. (Jessica) Harlie and Jonathon Littles; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Family visitation will be held on Sunday evening, December 30, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
    The funeral service for Mr. Williams will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018, at the Hodges Grove Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. John Harmon, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Candler County, Georgia.
    Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
