Deputies arrested an employee of a local attorney’s office Thursday after an investigation into allegations of child molestation.

Roni Joanna Shaw, 37, of Shuman Drive, is charged with sodomy, aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, said Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown.

“It was reported to (the) Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office that … Shaw had some inappropriate sexual relations with a 14-year-old male child at her home in June 2018,” he said.

Investigators issued warrants for Shaw’s arrest after gathering evidence and conducting several interviews, he said.

She is being held without bond at the Bulloch County Jail, pending further court hearings and continued investigation.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Bulloch County sheriff’s Capt. Todd P. Hutchens at (912) 764-1787.
