An elderly woman was killed Friday evening when a man ran a stop sign and crashed into the church van in which she was riding, according to Georgia State Patrol Senior Trooper Brian Scott. The drivers of both vehicles and three passengers of the van were seriously injured as well, he said.Jestine Roberson, 75, address unavailable, was killed in the crash. The others were transported by ambulance and helicopter to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
