... This is in response to the Obama haters get a life. ... I had a life ... before he got elected and that's why I hate Obama.

Saturday's paper's headline says, 'Handel and Deal clash on abortion'. Would somebody please explain what abortion has to do with runnin' the state government?

... I noticed that GSU is lookin' for an optician. ... I hope they're not gonna use one penny of the tuition money I am sending them to pay for that. My tuition goes for my child's ... education ... not for services... they can get out in the public sector. I wish someone in the state would look into this and find out what's goin' on and how GSU is wasting their tuition money.

Delete - Merge Up    The Statesboro Herald gets the worst copy editor award for Sunday, July 25th edition. The front page article on the Gulf was a total disaster, with the columns not makin' any sense. And then, you printed the same article about tattoos twice ... in the Lifestyle section. Your standard of quality has really declined this year.

Hats off to Kathy Vixen and Wayne Collingsworth for their letters to the editor ... about the board of education raisin' taxes. Yeah, they're right. They need to get rid of a lot in central office.

This here board of education ... taxin'. ... Every body needs to ... get in touch with their board representative and let 'em know their thoughts and opinion. ... They ... probably won't let you in the meetins like Mr. Collingsworth said, but, phone calls, letters, emails ... anything you can do.

I find it very difficult to swallow the property tax pill that the Bulloch County Board of Education would like to administer to us. Perhaps if they would step back and eliminate their own excessive spending, then there would be no need to levy extra taxes against us. ... Is it really necessary for the secretaries at the board office to have their own secretaries? Or for teachers to receivin' brand-new laptops when there's nuthin' wrong with ones they currently have? As a property tax owner and mother of four Bulloch County public school students, I will vote no to a property tax increase. I urge you to do the same.

... I wholeheartedly agree with the Soundoff person from last week saying that ... all of these Obama haters should pray for our president. Again, I agree. Now, I direct you to Psalm 108 ... 'scuse me, Psalm 109 verse 8, 'Let's pray.'
