The lengthy article by the Associated Press concerning Obama's religious affiliation lacked two important facts. First, the White House declared him a Christian. Nowhere did Obama state he is a Christian. ... Second, there was no mention of any church he and his family attend.

I was not aware that we had a mental institution ... around Statesboro. In the paper this mornin', you've got some guy sayin' that Obama's gonna ... might let them build a mosque ... in New York City. ... Are there people who ... who just can't understand that that's a private business situation and does not concern Obama?

To the person who called in about Obama ... letting terrorists build a mosque. One, no American Muslim was involved in the 9-11 attacks. And two, the president's power does not include issuing building permits. That's up to the city of New York."
